What a wonderful resource!

Glad you've found such an excellent sounding link with other resources, too. I had, and followed for a few years 'til end points a couple links of two different bloggers traveling the road you are on with HH. Much that could be learned as others shared I noted. I was impressed at how well each of the wives coped, interacted with their husband through the emerging changes -- eventually moving from their farm for one and general adjustments. Different for each but similar in some ways.

Bogie--I agree.

Joared--I nearly giggled when Hunky Husband came into the kitchen at 5:30am the other day and said, "I'm a bit confused this morning. Do I still go to work?" As Dr Eshbaugh has noted in some of her postings, joy in our loved one doesn't stop...it's just increasingly punctuated by more serious times and the need for planning ahead. (I should clarify that HH retired in the Fall of 1993.)
