That is so cool catching one as it is still drying off!

It was! When I first caught sight of it, its wings were not yet quite fully inflated. As you can see (one of) in the photo, there are a couple of more chrysalides on that stalk of dill.

Roberta--I just noticed the different coloration of the "trunk veins" in her wing. Wondering if that is because that fluid has not yet "hardened".

Stu--I sent you a couple of emails this morning - about your Atlas moth and about your cataract surgeries. I would appreciate knowing whether you received them. It has been some time since I've received confirmation on emails sent from my main email address and I'm wondering if it has a problem (worse than the ones of which I'm aware). If you're not getting them, I'll go through the extra hoops now required for me to send from my CC email address when corresponding with you.
