Since moving into this house 22 years ago, I have admired the blue spruce that a neighbor across the street had next to his driveway. Below, is a photo of the tree that I took 2/21/2013 when it wore a fluffy white coat. Today, a landscaping company is taking that tree out. It has been in the process of dying for a couple of years - looking pretty scraggly.
As with our own trees that have been removed, I'll miss seeing that blue spruce out of our house's front windows (of which there are eight in the house and two in the garage). As the spruce is not as large as was our cottonwood, its removal process isn't quite as exciting. Below, is a photo of the guys starting the process.
After the tree people finished taking out the one spruce and trimming up the spruce that had been hidden behind it, they cleaned up and left. Below is a photo showing how it looks, now.
The first house we owned had a blue spruce which was my pride and joy. Sorry the one you picture here didn't survive.
