A suaheli sheep walks into a Baa . . .

Stu--This mono-lingual person needs help. All I can make out of your sentence fragment has to do with a Swahili sheep and the Botswana Athletics Association. You've stumped me.

The suaheli word for a Bar is Baa

Sure hope you start getting some sleep on Monday nights 'cause I'd hate to think of you becoming malnourished or worse. Bluebird of Bitterness is a welcome link -- thanks! Stay out of bars in the meantime.

Stu--That was logical; but, I couldn't find that translation, anywhere. BTW: You also give me a challenge in interpreting your Germanic proclivities in writing in English - capitalization of nouns. (You do that to me on purpose, don't you? ; )

Descartes walked into a bar and ordered a beer. “Want another?” asked the bartender. “I think not”, Descartes replied … then he disappeared.

Joared--I don't think that I've been in a bar since the 1980s.

Me: What’s the Wi-Fi password? Bartender: You need to buy a drink first. Me: OK, I’ll have a Coke. Bartender: Three dollars. Me: There you go. So what’s the Wi‑Fi password? Bartender: “You need to buy a drink first.” No spaces, all lowercase.

Around here (Boston area), "Baa" would be where people go to drink. No, that isn't the way it is spelled, but it is the way it is pronounced :).

Bogie--That thought hadn't occurred to me until I saw your comment. Well done.
