Hmmm...I truly learn from my blog friends - different perspectives, at the least. Liz found the vocabulary lesson funny. That struck me as strange. But then, she also found, as did Bogie that the lesson was "true", which goes along with my finding. Then, Stu seems to find the lesson stereotypical, which finding I don't understand. Ah, well, to each his/her own, eh?
We humans sometimes "spin" information to reflect a hidden meaning or subtext. To me, the vocabulary lesson illustrates such "spin". (To me, applying spin is akin to speaking/writing euphemistically.)
