Finally. What a long, strange trip it has been.

Ingineer--It has been! BTW: The photo is at the approach end of Runway 19L with Equity Bank and Holiday Inn Wichita East in the background. The buildings are about 3 miles north of McConnell.

So when the KC135 is finally retired,
presumably the USAF band will play "Tanks for the memory" ;-) ?

G-R-O-A-N!!! (I can see Stu, as Bob Hope, crooning the tune.)

That was decent Stu. Now that the Bob Hope Desert Classic is just called the Desert Classic, kids today do not even know who he was.

I should mention that, on Thursday, the third and fourth KC-46As were delivered to McConnell AFB.
