Cop Car's Beat

Thanks to our daughters....

Some things one learns only through their children. One thing that I learned was the song "Little Bunny Foo Foo" (which I would previously have sworn was "Little Rabbit Foo Foo", but I digress). Without having heard that song, I would not have understood one of the cartoons in this mornings Wichita Eagle newspaper, below.

We survived four days of meetings!

Hunky Husband and I spent the first four days of this week with our 110 closest co-workers in the organization with which we spend much time volunteering - at a "resort" in Nebraska City, Nebraska. The first couple of days were pretty much wasted on us, our not being the sort who enjoys playing "ice-breaker" games or jumping to our feet yelling, "Yeah!" However, we did get some actual work accomplished during the last 48 hours; so, it was worth the trip.
