imho, STEM leads to STEMI :-(

Stu--Take pity on us non-healthcare-professionals! Thanks for the reminder that I should provide a play book(such as provided in the posting Terms Used by Cop Car) when using acronyms.

STEM (as in the above posting) = Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics - a chatch-all term for the so-called "hard sciences" fields

STEMI (as used by Stu in his comment) = Sinus Tachycardia Elevation Myocardial Infarction - an acute coronary syndrome
