Folks, I'm going to put Cop Car's Beat on another Sabbatical. I'm not on the computer very much these days (too painful); so...the Sabbatical will last until the docs & PTs whip my back into shape. Sorry. I'll visit your blogs on the rare occasion when I can sit still long enough (I know that some of you, from first-hand experience, can understand that!), and will let you know when I return. Thanks for coming by.
While I'm at it, Wonderful GrandDaughter (WGD) gave me permission to post photos of her new (1 month old, now) baby, Next Generation 1 (NG1).
That is the proud new grandmother (Dudette) holding NG1 in the above photo.
Above is the happy new family - WGD, Chew, and NG1.
Finally, a four-generation photo: WGD, Hunky Husband (holding NG1), me, and Dudette.
Beautiful photos. I hope you are soon back to feeling more comfortable at the computer but understand the need for breaks sometimes.

Ever think about a chiropractor? PT is all well and good, excersizes have never put stuff back in place for me - kept it in place, yes, but never put it back.
Any way you go, hope it gets better soon!

I hope you feel better very soon CC...I know what it's like to have a nagging, uncomfortable pain. I've kinda got one going right now myself. Good luck with your back. Wonderful pics...precious baby. See you soon sweetie... (((((Healing Hugs))))) ~Joy xo

Beautiful baby!!!!
I understand back problems all too well! I had two herniated discs and therapy is no option. I had the greatest orthopedic surgeon in the world who did microsurgery on the discs in 1979 and haven't had any major problems with it since.
And yeah, I've learned to be good to my spine. If you want more info, drop me a note.
Hope you're healing!!!

M.E. - From being (on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the worst pain), my pain has gone from 5 or 6 most of the time, with spikes to 9, to less than 1 or 2 most of the time, with spikes to 4. Thanks for asking!
Kay - You should see the baby, now! (I'll post a photo soon.)
Glad you had such a great surgeon back there in 1979. As you can tell from my note to M.E., I am healing, thank you.
Hunky Husband tells me that those with lower back problems can get over it in about 1 year if they work at it. If s/he doesn't work at it, recovery takes about 12 months. Can you believe that?!
