Verrry interesting!! I checked out a few of the sites you recommeded: Some very good reads...showing real talent sharing their "stories". And, Fred's picture! It almost seems unfair that he can walk out of his home and see mountain/forest scenery like that!! I guess those of us who live and love in Kansas will have to take solace in "other" forms of bearty...

Welcome to the blog world, Ron. It isn't just that Fred lives in a beautiful place; but that he sees it so clearly. If you didn't play around with the "buttons" on Fred's blog site enough to wander through his gallery of photos, I urge you to do so. It's wonderful viewing the world through his lens and through his choice of words.
P.S. Don't be afraid to leave a comment or two on Fred's blog (or on any of the blogs listed at the lower portion of the left sidebar on my page). Bloggers love to hear from their readers. Especially readers like you who are well-traveled. (Tell 'em about Russia!)
