This is neat you have babes to watch maturing. Only time I ever saw wild turkeys was in AZ along the Mongollon Rim.

I was able to observe hummingbirds hatch on our patio here in So Cal years ago. Unfortunately, their initial flights didn't end well.

Joared--"Our" turkey flock is a source of much entertainment for Hunky Husband and me. When I worked in So Cal in the mid-1980s, an Anna's hummingbird nested on my patio. It took my sister-in-law to spot the nest for me, though. She of the sharp eyes and Elder Brother (also sharp-eyed!) had made the trip out (from Santa Fe NM) to do some bird watching with me for a few days.
